Las Posada Romana is a beautiful 5 bedroom Andalucia villa dating back to the the 14th century, when it used to be owned by the countess of Guadalerin. Constructed by the the famous French arquitect Forestier it is surrounded by 2.5 hectares of vineyards.
The Villa is surrounded by a garden full of lavender, rosemary, thyme, olive and other fruit trees. It has its own private swimming pool, 9m x4m with a pergola and barbecue
area. Perfect for soaking up the summer rays or just eating and drinking al fresco.
It has 5 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has it's own fireplace and a king size bed. The other bedrooms have twin beds which can be joined to make double beds depending on group requirements.
The Villa consists of two floors , the lower floor has the lounge, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The second floor has 2 other bedrooms. The 5th bedroom is situated in a separate wing adjoined to the main house and has its own en-suite bathroom.
The views from the villa are stunning across the Guadalcobacin valley. The villa is only 7 minutes away from the famous town of Ronda, where the local bars, restaurants, supermarkets and banks can be found.The nearest beaches are San Pedro and Marbella only an hour away. Also you will find the famous golf courses of the Costa del Sol around the Marbella area. Malaga airport is 90 minutes away and Gibraltar 80 minutes.
There is also a local train where you can hop on a train and 4 hours later explore the wonders and culture of Madrid. Granada and Seville are also approximatly 90 minutes away.
The Villa also offers wine tasting courses and Spanish cookery classes. Indeed the villa has its own wine celler full of local wines from the Ronda region which can be consumed during the stay and then paid for at the end of the holiday.
